That's a great question. One thing has been to pursue relationships (in person, whenever possible) who have very different lifestyles, commitments etc without engaging in debate or discussion. Just listening and loving. Another is to try to be the minority person or viewpoint in a room so that when there is discussion or debate, I'm the numerically disadvantaged person. (And, of course, there's reading, etc.)
Can you describe a concrete thing you are doing which here is described with the metaphor of “pulling up a chair at new tables?”
